When can I order seeds?
Online sales are now open through May 31, 2024.
How do I order seeds through the Grow With 4-H seed fundraiser?
Purchasing seeds is simple! Simply browse the seed selections on our website, add them to the shopping cart, and proceed to the checkout.
Once you are ready to finalize your purchase, use the dropdown menu to select the 4-H club you wish to have proceeds distributed to (you can also type the first few letters of your 4-H club’s name and select from the autocomplete list).
Customers can select products and add them to the cart. At checkout, you input the shipping address, billing address (if different), payment information, and that’s it! Sit back and wait for your seeds to arrive in a few days!
What are the shipping rates?
To cover the cost of shipping, there is a $3.00 shipping charge applied to each kit. So, if you order one kit, shipping costs $3.00, if you order two kits, the shipping cost is $6.00, If you order three kits, the shipping cost is $9.00, and so on.
Shipping is automatically calculated at the checkout.
Where does the Grow With 4-H Seed Fundraiser ship?
Seeds sales are open to everyone in Canada, and we ship to all locations within Canada.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Seed orders are fulfilled within 1-2 days of being placed. Depending on where you live in Canada, you will receive your order within 3-9 business days, based on Canada Post’s schedule.
What payment methods are accepted?
The Grow With 4-H seed fundraiser website processes payments from all major credit cards, as well as visa debit, Google pay and Apple wallet.
We do not accept cheque payments.
How long will my seeds last?
Seeds can be stored for up to 2 years, provided they are stored in the proper conditions. To find out more about saving seeds, visit this site.
Who is your seed supplier?
Grow With 4-H's seed partner is Make It Sow, family-owned and operated Canadian business based in Ayr, ON. Make It Sow provides high-quality seeds exclusively for fundraising activities in Canada.
Can Grow With 4-H seeds grow in all regions of Canada?
Yes. All Grow With 4-H seed fundraiser kits contain seeds from established varieties that thrive in Canadian growing regions.

What if I can’t find the club I’m looking for in the list?
All clubs in good standing are eligible to receive proceeds from the Grow With 4-H seed fundraiser. If a club you are looking for is not listed, it means the club is not currently active, or it is not in good standing within its province and are therefore not eligible to receive funds until they update their standing at the provincial council level.
How to I ensure profits from my purchase go to the 4-H club/provincial council I choose?
Giving back is simple! At the checkout you will see a dropdown menu that contains the names of all 4-H clubs in good standing in Canada. Clubs are listed in alphabetical order by province. Simply select the club you want your funds to go to, and we take care of the rest.
Don’t want to scroll the whole list? No problem! Type the first few letters of the club name and select the club from the list.
A complete list of participating clubs in each province can also be found here.
If you do not want to allocate funds to a specific club, you can select National 4-H Council at the bottom of the dropdown list. In this case, the 35% that would have been allocated to a local club will, instead, be directed to 4-H Canada.
The intention of this fundraiser is to raise funds for clubs, though, so we encourage you to select a local club to benefit from these fundraising activities.
How much of my purchase goes back to 4-H?
Distribution of profits from the Grow With 4-H Seed Fundraiser as follows:
- 70% of profits go to 4-H Clubs
- 20% of profits go to the provincial council in which each club is located
- 10% of profits go stay with 4-H Canada to cover program costs
